Anne Arundel Youth Charitable Initiative Inc., also known as Raising 4 Reasons, is a non-profit, student-run Board of Directors that raises funds and approves grants to local organizations in need of assistance. Currently in its third year of existence, it is composed of juniors and seniors from public and private schools around the county. Along with an adult oversight board, the Youth Board meets monthly at the Anne Arundel County Board of Education on Riva Road in Annapolis.

We envision a county where young people contribute their energy, idealism, leadership, and philanthropic skills to Anne Arundel County's growth and progress.
Priorities
- Instill philanthropic values in young people.
- Raise funds for the Youth Board of Directors to award in grants to county projects.
- Provide opportunities for young people to learn and practice Board membership skills, including professional fundraising.
